Shopping at Layla Grayce is very simple and very secure. Browse through our store and find the items you just can’t live without. Select the colors, sizes and any customizations from the product page. Click the “add to cart” button and the item is automatically placed in your shopping cart. Some items may have additional shipping charges due to their size, weight or special handling requirements. These additional costs ensure that the items are packaged appropriately and arrive in perfect condition in your home. Any additional charges will be noted for each item on the product page.
Once you have everything in your shopping cart, enter any promotional or coupon codes, select gift wrap for any desired items and then proceed to checkout. You can choose to sign in as a registered member of Layla Grayce or continue shopping as a guest (signing in will allow you to track the progress of your shipment and is recommended). If you are a returning member, you will have access to your address book and stored information once logged in. Choose your Shipping Method, add a note with any Special Instructions and complete payment via Gift Certificate redemption or Credit Card Payment. The final step of the checkout process is to review your order, agree to the Terms & Conditions and click on the "Place Order" button. A confirmation page will show a summary of your transaction and an email version of this summary will be promptly sent to the email address you provide.

Note that your credit card will be charged at the time of checkout for all items in your shopping cart. If you receive notice that an item or items are backordered, you can opt to cancel the order and your card will be refunded. Also note that custom made items must be cancelled within 2 business days. Why would you want to register? Well, for starters it makes your online shopping faster and easier. Your billing and shipping addresses are securely stored with us so you won’t need to enter them every time you place an order. For those who like to send gifts, you can also store a number of different addresses to select from at checkout. You will also be able to login to your account to check the status of your orders and your order history, create a gift registry that you can pass on to friends and family or save favorite items to a wish list. Your registered information will be securely stored with us, and you can add, delete, or change your information at any time using your password. Placing an order through our shopping cart is as secure as ordering by phone, but we realize that sometimes you may have questions and want to speak to a real person. If no one is available to assist you or if it is after hours, please leave a detailed message and we will return the call as soon as possible.
From time to time we will run sales promotions that feature discounted pricing on products. Some of our sales will last for a limited period of time while other promotions will continue until the products are sold out. In addition, subscribers to our Layla Grayce newsletter will receive via email special coupon or promotion codes to be redeemed at checkout. Coupons, sales and promotions can not be applied to gift certificates or combined with any other offer. Sorry, no price adjustments on previous orders. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to unauthorized or ineligible use of discount. All Company C items are excluded from all promotions and sales.
Gift wrap is available for some of our smaller items and creates a presentation that is as special as the gift itself with rich, chocolate colored boxes tied and accented with scalloped edged cream ribbon. After adding the selected item to your cart, click on the “add gift wrap” button to add your message and information. The charge for almost all items we have in stock is $5.00 and includes a special Layla Grayce gift card with a message of your choice. Larger items may cost more to gift wrap and the charge will be noted on the checkout page. Sorry, but at this time we are unable to offer gift wrapping for items shipped direct from our vendors.
We make every effort to get your merchandise to you as soon as possible. Items that we have in stock ship within 2 business days. Many of our items are custom made or ship direct from our vendors and artisans. This includes furniture lines that you must select a finish color or fabric choice for. Quality craftsmanship takes time, so please be patient as delivery times for these items will vary widely.
You can find a reasonable estimate of the delivery time as well as the shipping methods available (standard, second day, freight or premium freight delivery) specified on every product page. It is important to note that these are estimated shipping dates only and can not be guaranteed by Layla Grayce. Occasionally issues arise that are beyond our control that may lead to additional production time, such as our manufacturers experiencing a backup in production or not having all materials on hand to complete your item(s). If this is the case you will be alerted as soon as we are made aware that any problem exists. At this time orders placed through our shopping cart will all be shipped by the same method selected at checkout (with the exclusion of freight shipped items). If you wish to split the shipping, having some ship second day and some standard, please contact us to place the order by phone.
Layla Grayce strives to provide the best selection of items, but every so often customer demand exceeds our supply. If after placing your order you receive an emailed backorder notice, it will specify an approximate ship date for your merchandise. If you do not wish to wait until the due date you may cancel the order and your card will be refunded.
Layla Grayce follows the industry standard "30 Day Rule" pertaining to delayed delivery of your items. This rule states that you understand the posted shipping timeframe estimates for each product ordered, and accept the estimate as part of the terms of sale. In the case where a ship date changes or is delayed longer than 30 days past the estimate for the product, you will be notified and given the option to cancel or change your order.
Suddenly change your mind? No problem. You have up to 2 business days to contact us to cancel any custom order and have the amount refunded to your credit card. After 2 days custom orders are non-refundable. Custom orders include all furniture lines, personalized or monogrammed items, Bella Notte Linens®, House Inc. and Maddie Boo bedding lines, Maura Daniel and Jamie Young lighting and anything else that is made to order. If you are at all uncertain if what you are ordering is considered custom, please contact us to verify.
It is very important to measure carefully and correctly when placing orders for furniture items. That couch may be the perfect thing for your living room, but will you be able to get it through the door? The measurements for all of our larger items are listed, but please take into consideration the dimensions of all doorways and entryways, stairways and banisters, tight corners and hallways and any fixtures or other obstacles that may interfere in the pathway from our delivery truck to where you want your new furniture to be placed.
Our website features swatches of all of the paint, finish and fabric samples available for our items. We’ve done our best to get them exactly right, but please be aware that colors viewed online vary from one computer to the next. We have swatches available for many of our lines that we are happy to loan out to customers. Please note that many of our artisans and craftspeople custom mix paint for their finishes so swatch samples may vary slightly from actual finishes. - SKU number and name of the product
- Fabric/ finish color of swatch
A customer service representative will then respond confirming receipt of your request via email, and ask you to call us with your credit card information to finalize your request. Customers are able to check out a maximum of six swatches at a time. Layla Grayce will keep your credit card on file and will charge $15 per sample if they are not returned in a timely manner. As long as all swatches are returned to us within 14 days of receipt there is no charge and your credit card will not be billed. If additional time is needed, please contact us to approve the extension. We send the swatches out to you at no charge via either USPS or UPS. Many of our custom made furnishings are made from wood, a natural living and breathing product. Nature is unique and never duplicates, making no two pieces of wood, even from the same tree, exactly alike. Because wood responds to fluctuations in humidity levels (just like hardwood flooring), furniture can expand and contract over time depending on the climate. Please note that the degree of humidity or dryness in your home may cause splitting which will not affect the structural integrity of the piece and is not to be considered defective.
Certain types of wood will have more visible knots and wood grain. Our artisans make every effort to conceal knots and grain on painted finishes, but due to natural resins within some wood types (I.e. pine), they cannot completely eliminate them or guarantee to control them. Over time, knots and grain may bleed through and slightly discolor the finish (this may be more apparent on light color finishes). This discoloration is not to be considered a defect in craftsmanship. Irregularities in the finishes are not to be considered defects. While finishes are durable, they are not indestructible. Please contact us for care and maintenance of your wood furniture.
For an extra special touch, monograms and personalization are available on some of our products. Because these customized items were made especially at your request they are non returnable unless defective. It is important to note that if you are requesting a three letter monogram, the letters should be entered in the order in which you want them to appear, left to right. Additional charges for personalization may apply and will be listed on the product page.
Our gift registry is a great feature for anyone who loves our store. You must be a registered member at Layla Grayce to create a registry. To get started, go to "My Account", log in and create either a baby or wedding registry (or both). Once set up and logged into your account, simply browse through our site and find the items you want. Be sure to choose color, size and any options, and then click the “add to registry” button. All information on your registry will be stored with us and can be modified, added to or deleted at any time by logging into your account. You have the option of making your registry public which allows friends or family to look you up by name, or make your registry private. Either way, you can let friends and family members know what you like by emailing your registry details directly to them. Just enter their names, email addresses and any personalized message and hit the “send” button. A personal wishlist works in the same way and can be used for birthdays, holidays or to simply save a list of your favorite items.
Layla Grayce upholds the warrantees provided by the artisans and manufacturers who create our furnishings. Because the details and duration of our manufacturers' warrantees differ, we encourage you to ask one of our design consultants for specific warranty information on products of interest.
