This is a temporary, part-time position that requires the candidate to work remotely with set, scheduled hours. The ability to manage time efficiently, productively and independently is a must. The ideal candidate is thorough, detailed, proactive, resourceful and extremely well-organized.

Candidate will be working in a supporting role updating product information and pricing, as needed using Content Management System (CMS).

Job Duties

  • CMS: Work within existing CMS to update product information and pricing. Experience helpful but not required.
  • Excel proficiency: create and maintain spreadsheets with some simple formulas.
  • HTML: basic working knowledge.

SEASONAL PART TIME/FULL TIME WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Layla Grayce, Inc., a well-established, growing e-commerce home furnishings and children's boutique headquartered in Pasadena is currently interviewing shipping/receiving candidates to join our warehouse team.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Participates in printing, marking and sorting of invoices and packing slips
  • Pulls correct product, identifies back orders and drop ships
  • Pack, print and affix appropriate shipping labels to all outgoing packages
  • Gift wrap
  • Receiving and rotation of in-stock inventory
  • General facility maintenance and organization

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent in English: able to articulate, both verbally and in writing
  • Familiar with Web-based search functions, navigates through defined websites efficiently
  • Able to stand, walk, lift, and carry for extended periods of time
  • High school diploma or equivalent

PREFERRED COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • UPS / Fedex /USPS Shipping software
  • Windows XP, Windows 7, Outlook, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Netsuite

HOURS OF OPERATION:
This is position is seasonal and paid hourly, open for immediate start. Layla Grayce operates 5-7 days a week depending on season and promotional activity.

SEASONAL PART TIME/FULL TIME RETAIL CALL CENTER SALES & SERVICE ASSOCIATE

Layla Grayce, a well-established, growing online home furnishings and children's boutique headquartered in Pasadena is seeking a seasonal part-time/full-time, experienced energetic phone retail associate. We are looking for someone to become an integral part of a close team of individuals committed to providing premium customer service and increasing sales. Job requires the utmost attention to detail, professionalism and courtesy.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Answering incoming phone calls, providing assistance to customers in all areas of customer support and sales.
  • Generating and responding to ongoing customer email communications and notifications.
  • Resolving customer inquiries and providing solutions which maintain positive customer relationships and loyalty.
  • Educating customers on products and providing limited interior design advice.
  • Assisting customers with placing new orders, advising them with product selections and servicing existing order needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous work experience in retail, and/or call center customer service.
  • High school diploma required; 2 or 4 year college degree preferred.
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Office Outlook, Excel, and internet navigation. Proficiency in Netsuite is preferred.
  • Must demonstrate professional phone etiquette and exude confidence and warmth.
  • Must demonstrate excellent analytical problem solving skills.
  • Must demonstrate fluency in English and be able to articulate strongly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must possess excellent communication, composition, and spelling skills.
  • Must possess strong time management skills and be able to multi-task and work independently.
