I was born in June, but I should have been born the first day of fall!! I live for the change of the seasons and am blessed to live in the mid-west where the mapleleafs are truly amazing. Halloween and Thanksgiving are hands down my favorite holiday and while most people have bins of winter holiday decorations, mine are full of leaves, pumpkins, ghourds, goblins and wonderful brown, orange and yellow embellishments for my home! I look forward to adding to my collection! (and, I love Anders Ruff – huge fan!)

I love the inspiring colors of the change in leaves. Greens overtaken by the most unimaginable burnt oranges, yellows and red, it can be breathtaking by the forestfull. Then the sense of childhood that returns as the leaves fall to the ground waiting to be raked into piles for jumping!

I wait for the first big frost of the fall! My little boy thinks it looks like snow! It’s beautiful to wake in the morning to glistening grass, trees and rooftops. The flannel bedsheets get put on and the “cozy” season starts! Autumn, my favorite…..it brings with it a bounty of thankfulness.

Color abounds in Fall -the earth blooms EVERYWHERE. Trees turn to the most beautiful hues of red, orange, yellow and plum. Pumpkins and gourds showcase beautiful shades of orange, gold and green. The blue sky of a crisp autumn day set of the magnificent colors. There is a hustle and bustle all around that speaks of football games and upcoming holidays. Smells of cinnamon, apples and pumpkin cannot be beat!
