While the term “Industrial Chic” may at first conjure up visions of something mass made and sterile, this trend is anything but, instead focused on items that have a sense of history dating back to the early 1900’s when the industrial age first began. Metal plays a big part of the style with machined iron and steel paired with unfinished wood for a look that is delightfully nostalgic. We’re loving the look of adding one or two key pieces to transitional interiors, giving rooms an injection of the unexpected. Think accent tables or storage shelving that have a functional, chic “old factory” look, or the simple shapes of metal pendant lighting. These cool vintage inspired finds accent interiors with rustic, utilitarian style. Ready to add some personality to your rooms? Check out the latest in Industrial Chic

I painted my living room a sage-life shade of green. I have dark wood furniture.
What color couch should I buy
The room is Kennebunkport Green with white trim. The existing furniture
I have is dark brown – i need to buy a couch, coffee table, and media center.

what color should my couch be? and where do i get one that’s contemporary yet comfortable?. Sage-like! Not sage-life!.
