Based in Little Rock, Bear-Hill Interiors has captured our attention with their stunning home designs. We love the elegant lighting, soft colors and variety of rich textures and mirrored surfaces in their homes. To give you a glimpse into their beautiful work, we’ve created a collection of our favorite photos from their portfolio.
We’re captivated by their use of a room’s existing natural light and architecture, like the large windows and striking marble fireplace in these spaces. The charming and peaceful nooks are dressed with glamorous mirrored surfaces for added light, while pastel wall colors, throw pillows and curtain panels invite a soothing and feminine aesthetic.
Bear-Hill Interiors often beautifully combines classic and modern design inspiration. In this living room, green walls, a sunburst mirror and contemporary throw pillows balance the formality of the room’s stately mantel and traditional furniture arrangement.
At first glance, this living room exudes traditional style with antique-inspired furniture and formal architecture. Yet the designers took this muted, classic look and gave it an eclectic update with abstract artwork, light-reflecting modern mirrors and bright blue upholstery and accessories.
A monotone palette runs the risk of feeling either staid or even overwhelming if its a strong shade, but this striking gold sitting room is neither. Perfectly balanced in a variety of golden hues, the formal living area is inviting and sophisticated versus off-putting.
In this bedroom, the designers fused minimalism with bright, graphic prints. The headboard’s simple geometric design and the room’s overall neutral color palette are given a bold facelift with vibrant throw accessories and a shimmering mirrored nightstand.

Today we’re excited to continue our “Design 101″ series! Once a month, we dive into the backstory behind specific furniture styles and show you the best way to use the pieces in your home. Thanks to the influence of Mad Men, we’re seeing a resurgence in home bars for cocktail hour and dinner parties. A throwback to this classic 1950s and 1960s aesthetic, bar carts conveniently add a touch of vintage appeal to the home.
With versatile and open constructions, today’s bar carts range from contemporary industrial metal to glamorous gold designs. Often featuring glass shelves with raised sides, these pieces are the perfect way to display collections of glassware, bar tools and bottles.

Set on wheels for ease of movement, these metal carts create a fully-stocked bar for entertaining anywhere in the home. We recommend placing this must-have party furnishing in a living room or dining room and styling it with colored cocktail tumblers, sophisticated ice buckets and glass decanters.

We love how the Jamie Young Steam Punk Table Lamp adds a bold industrial touch to a living room or bedroom. A simple yet stunning statement, this vintage-inspired light fixture shines with a hand-finished gunmetal shade and foot connected by a gold arm (the gold and silver contrast itself is enough to make us swoon!). It looks like we’re not the only ones who are crazy for this retro design: featured in the Washington Post lifestyle section, the lamp is surely making high style waves across the industry.
