Our team is completely smitten with the lavish sets of the Jazz Age film. Designer Catherine Martin re-created the 1920s aesthetic of Daisy and Gatsby’s homes with a beautiful collection of Art Deco furniture and décor.

Each of the 42 individual sets tells a piece of the timeless tale. The title character, Jay Gatsby, resides in a manor outfitted with sweeping staircases, luxurious crystal chandeliers and sconces and polished hardwood floors, perfect for throwing his over-the-top parties.

As impressed as we are with the overall 1920s vibe of each space, we’re equally excited about each individual, perfectly placed accessory. From gilded tabletop pieces to party tables decorated with the era’s popular desserts, no detail is missed.

Even in a neutral kitchen and dining room, solid white dishware can make a bold statement. The cohesive collection of pitchers, bowls and plates makes us think of vintage farmhouse table settings and intimate family dinners. In the little girl’s bedroom and the office, as in the living room, bright accents remain top priority for the homeowner. To steal this idea, toss contemporary throw pillows on the bed in splashy shades of orange, pink and green.

Get The Look: Revenge

If you watch Revenge, you know that the show’s interior design is practically one of the main characters! Villain Victoria Grayson’s tasteful Hamptons home is so beautiful that it’s easy to overlook her sinister ways—we think you’ll agree that one of television’s most evil characters does have very good taste, indeed.

Stealing the show from Victoria and Conrad in this scene (above) is gorgeous lighting from Oly Studio, including the Serena drum chandelier. Below, in the Grayson Manor conservatory, slipcovered dining chairs and candles casting a warm glow make for a cozy dining area.

In a guest bedroom, two demilune tables topped with aqua lamps flank a bed with a tufted headboard.

In the great room, Victoria sits perched on her throne, a wingback chair featuring a Parisian chic print. The room’s size and high ceilings demand large-scale furnishings, yet despite its size, the great room still feels comfortable thanks to it warm-toned color palette, fireplace with dark wood surround, and fluffy pillowback sofas.

The master bedroom is a study of contrasts, with light walls, dark side tables, a headboard with light fabric and dark wood trim, and light metallic-base lamps donning black shades. The result is sophisticated and elegant, neither too masculine nor too feminine.

Victoria even has her very own potting shed, which embraces sunny seaside style with a spindle desk, shingled walls and skylights. Below, the style in Victoria’s daughter Charlotte’s room is classic but slightly younger and more colorful. We love the color combination of slate blue walls with eggplant purple and mustard yellow accents.
