Happy April! As the days get sunnier and warmer I’m always reminded that it’s almost Mother’s Day. This year it will be on Sunday, May 12th, so mark your calendars and start shopping for something sweet for the woman who taught you everything.

New year, new color! Emerald is the hot new hue, according to the color experts at Pantone. Not that we’re surprised. We had a sneaking suspicion it would be big – we’ve been coveting it for months now on everything from rugs to pillows to lighting! Inspired by nature (the rolling hills of Ireland, we surmise?), it’s a welcome change from last year’s livelier color of the year, Tangerine Tango. Happy November! I don’t know about you, but my social calendar is filling up quickly this holiday season. It seems like everyone is having a party!
