Modernized Glamour: Fabian Chandelier

Boldly geometric: Chelsea Chandelier

Colored crystal accents: Chloe Pendant

Ornately Luxe: Lily Juliana Chandelier
We love when designers take at traditional go-to staple item and infuse it with new life and a distinctly updated sensibility. Crystal chandeliers are the latest thing to get a modern makeover and we’re introducing a new collection that features glamorous new interpretations of classics. Strands of crystal beads spill down in waterfall effects, often interspersed with colored crystal accents that showcase a flair for geometry that is more 21st century than Grandma’s old heirloom chandelier. Draped swags of crystals or semi-precious stones read as alternately over the top glam or delightfully eclectic. We still have a soft spot for traditional looks (especially when decked out as fine as these lovelies are), but we’re sure even Grandma would approve of this makeover!

While the term “Industrial Chic” may at first conjure up visions of something mass made and sterile, this trend is anything but, instead focused on items that have a sense of history dating back to the early 1900’s when the industrial age first began. Metal plays a big part of the style with machined iron and steel paired with unfinished wood for a look that is delightfully nostalgic. We’re loving the look of adding one or two key pieces to transitional interiors, giving rooms an injection of the unexpected. Think accent tables or storage shelving that have a functional, chic “old factory” look, or the simple shapes of metal pendant lighting. These cool vintage inspired finds accent interiors with rustic, utilitarian style. Ready to add some personality to your rooms? Check out the latest in Industrial Chic

The soft, muted tones of sand, seaglass and aqua in Serena and Lily’s new bedding collections evoke memories of our favorite beach house, relaxed Summer days and the smell of the ocean drifting through open windows. Bring a touch of beach inspired décor to you bedroom, pairing the new bedding with upholstered pieces in light sand, linen burlap and deep seaglass. A pearlescent shell mirror and glazed blue lamps add shimmering accents to white washed walls, while aged and distressed woods add substance and anchor the room. Don’t forget the oh-so cozy throw to ward off evening chills, and you can be reliving your memories of the beach all year long.

Cool, metallic and reflective, silver is surprisingly adaptive, effortlessly working into a wide range of design styles from modern contemporary to classically traditional. Often used for jewelry (and of course holiday decorating), we are delighted to see silver weaving its way into textiles and home accents. Shop all silver items here
Warm undertones enliven this deep shade of brown which is not quite black, but percolates with character and substance, adding just the right amount of impact. Espresso is equally at home in the world of contemporary decor as it is in traditional, looking especially chic with dashes of softened, desaturated hues of pinks, blues and greens.Shop all espresso colored items here
